O son, the reality of our life is, (and I'm going to quote the words of a Shaykh):
"As long as you are living with people, you'll be subject to harassment, transgressed upon, stabbed in your back, people backbite you. You'll be exposed to all kinds of evil by people..."
So how do we handle such a situation?
Jaafar as-Sadiq says:
"The true way to hurt the enemy
is to be occupied with the love of the Friend.
On the other hand,
if you engage in war with the enemy,
he will have obtained what he wanted from you
and at the same time
you will have lost the opportunity
of loving the Friend."
So be smart!
