Reading Hayy | In high spirits

Bismillah.

Am re-reading Hayy ibn Yaqzan by Ibn Tufail. It's a literature written in the 12th century. Have you ever heard about it? No? Yes? I didn't know what mangrove was, but I knew Hayy ibn Yaqzan. And, it is a consolation for someone who has never read Robinson Crusoe! LOL. That's because, Robinson Crusoe pretty much mirrored Hayy Ibn Yaqzan. I didn't say that. The experts did. So yes, it's a big consolation for someone like me who has never read Robinson Crusoe.

Allah works in wondrous ways. He gives us something, He withholds something else from us. We know nothing except that which He teaches. We get nothing save that which He gives.

Even if a million people were to block His mercy and bounties from reaching you, they can't, if it's meant for you. Fa bi ayyi ala irabbikuma tukazziban? "So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?" I say, nay, nay, nay!

Blogger in high spirits as she marks the calendar, on the arrival of Miss Citrine :)
Alhamdulillah wa shukrulillah.
