Bismillah.
O son, Alhamdulillah wa shukrulillah for the simple pleasures of life such as long distance driving. I cherish each and every opportunity to drive along Malaysia's North-South Highway between Penang and KL. Penang is where home is. KL is almost like home too. I do find solace in driving as it gives me plenty of time to observe, reflect and contemplate. Today's posting is a little late because I was going back and forth between the two wonderful cities. No matter how noisy or busy the surroundings are, it always feel like it's just me, the road and the beautiful and forever changing 'canopy'.
Who has made for you the earth like a bed and has made for you roads therein, in order that you may find your way.
(Qur'an: Az-Zukruf 10)
Who has made for you the earth like a bed and has made for you roads therein, in order that you may find your way.
(Qur'an: Az-Zukruf 10)
Allah it is He who has made for you the earth as a dwelling place and the sky as a canopy and has given you shape and made your shapes good (looking) and has provided you with good things.
(Qur'an: Al-Ghafir 64)
O son, may we continue to observe the universe and remember Him.
Ya Allah, anta sohibu fis safari.
O Lord, You are my companion in this journey.
Anta sohibu fis safari!
