Last known address

Bismillah.

O son, we should be thinking about our last address more than what we shall do three or five years from now. People often ask 'where do you see yourself five years from now?' and I have always had difficulties answering that 'intelligent' question. 

Anyhow, I wish to post about the final address of one habib who is loved by many muhibbeen who knew how special he was. I feel that there is a need to give the direction to his final resting place as I do get queries about it. I hope it will be useful especially for friends from Indonesia and Singapore who wish to visit his maqam. He is Almarhum Habib Ali bin Jaafar al-Idrus rahimallahu taala.

Getting there from north/KL/Muar

1. From Muar (federal) road, cross the river where Putra Specialist Center is on the right

2. Drive ahead until you come to the third traffic light where Summit Shopping Mall is on the right
3. At the traffic light, turn right onto Jalan Zabedah

3. Drive pass The Katerina Hotel on your left

4. At the second traffic light turn left onto Jalan Rahmat

5. Drive up until you come to a roundabout (Simpang Rantai roundabout)

6. Take 12 o'clock onto Jalan Tanjung Laboh

7. Go straight at the first traffic light

8. When you are about to reach the second traffic light slow down, you will see the signboard of Bukit Cermai Cemetery below.
9. Turn left and drive towards its entrance.
10. Almarhum Habib Ali's maqam is about 40 meters away. Next to him is his wife Almarhum Sharifah Aloyah who had passed away about 60 years before him.
