On choosing and fleeing

Bismillah.

In the middle of the night...felt compelled to share a lil something especially for Aunt S and Sis N who are in a different time zone, yet so in the heart-zone with this faqir. Thanks.

This is a saying by Imam Shadhilli I came across jut a lil while ago. [What's with this lil bit of this, lil bit of that?]

But the illuminated scholars of the past are known to say very little, yet the meaning is so vast as it is deep.

Here goes:

As thou flee, I say:
Fi amanillah.
[In Allah's protection]
