I have just finished my Quran and Salawat lesson tonight. For the salawat lesson, the Ustaz elucidates key Arabic terms contained in 10 salawat which I have personally selected. And for tonight, we started studying Salawat Fatih. Fatih means opener.
And guess what is the salawat "assignment" given by Habib Umar for this year's Rabiul Awal? It's Salawat Fatih 10,000 times!
May Allah Al Fatah opens up the easiest path for us to make plenty of salawat in this blessed month of Rabiul Awal.

the one who opens that which is closed
wal khatimi lima sabaq
the seal of those that came before
nasiril haqqi bil haqq
the defender of truth with truth
wal haadi ila siratal mustaqim
the guide to the straight path
wa ala alihi wa sohbihi
and upon his family and companions
haqqa qadrihi wa miqdarihil azim
befitting his immense position and grandeur
