Assalamualaikum warahmatullah.
We know we have quite a strong attraction to the Prophet salallah alaihi wasalam, hence we quickly pulled over by the roadside upon seeing a group of children reciting salawat loudly as they marched towards a mosque in Melaka, Malaysia.
This kind of simple but meaningful joy of life is what we live for.
May Allah make our tongues light to recite quietly as many salawat as possible whenever we are alone or in public.

This was at Masjid Tengkera in Melaka, which was built by Muhammad Salleh, a mualeem cum trader from India in 1728. This took place when Melaka was colonized by the Dutch.
Al Fatihah to the honorable Muhammad Salleh who evidently left a wonderful legacy that could still benefit us to this day.
The maqam of Sultan Hussin Muazzam Shah who witnessed the signing ceremony that marked the establishment of Singapore in 1819 by Raffles, is located within the mosque compound.
May we learn from the past and be mindful of the kind of history/contributions we leave behind.
