Mid-week weaklings | Brighter tomorrows

Bismillah.

To err is human, we are all weaklings without a doubt.

Research says Wednesday is the day when people are the most productive. But definitely not the Wednesday, post-Eid holidays. 

The city folks have begun to host Eid open house, small scale, medium scale, big scale. The Eid celebration momentum is picking up again for those who have returned to KL.

It's also time to resume my Quran lessons YaHuuuu!

May Allah bless my Quran teacher for he has successfully induced excitement for the Furqan.

Recuperating from Eid-ing

Bismillah.

Tuesday - was like my first day at work. I mean first day to report duty upon getting employed. I moved to a new floor and a new cold work desk was waiting for uninterested/not so motivated me - this is a typical post-Eid syndrome.

A bit of consolation though. This view:

And this space near my workstation will be redecorated and transformed into a mini entertainment lounge area where we could play video games, read magazines, watch TV, in between those dry paperwork and heated meetings. Cool eh?

Ah...this posting is looking like a trial for my new upcoming blog which will be more personal about my lifestyle, places of interest, and food! Yes, I am just waiting for this blog to hit 1 million views before I move on to a new space. We are going to hit 1 million pretty fast. I can make it faster, by re-visiting my own postings LOL and we also have the "help" of a bunch of spy-readers who loooove to scrutinize my Eid photos and non-Eid photos this year and the previous years. LOL. They might be checking what sofa I used to have and what new items I have added in my crib etc. They just keep coming back, somehow. LOL. Thank you, guys! 

I have a piece of advice for people who can't seem to move on. I made this postcard as a reminder for them and me. 

Yes, I want a new blog so I will stop doing the old one. 

Back in KL | Back to reality

Bismillah.

Monday was a wake-up call day for me, that I had to drive back to KL and face "reality" - that is my job in KL. Alhamdulillah to have a job. It's a blessing I sure cherish cos I had been jobless for about three years before. 

Oh yes, this blog is looking more like a personal lifestyle blog instead of a "da'wah-inclined" one. but I am one who is real. There's a time for everything and it is Allah who orchestrates the states we get to experience in every moment, each day. Life is a fluid dynamic process.

The road trip back to KL was fun with my niece and nephew - as always. We have pretty cool rest areas in Malaysia you know. But no we don't have state-of-the-art WC facilities like those in Japan.

OK here's a small virtual Eid souvenir from me to you - a card that explains the huge artwork I have at my Penang home. May we benefit from these wonderful Names of Allah.

Still Eid-ing

Bismillah.

I can't seem to stop all these rambling postings about my Eid/Raya holiday in Penang. LOL.

But as they say, this too shall pass, so let it be before it passes. Before we resume work. Before Monday comes. LOL.

I wish you a pleasant weekend too. Yasmin Mogahed says, don't get attached to moments, good or bad, they all pass.

No, am not attached, just cherishing all the wonderful moments as gifts from the Most Generous Creator.

Working tomorrow but I am still Eid-ing in Penang. God help me 🤔
This is expected when you hang-out with college girls.

Alhamdulillah wa shukrulillah.

It's always a joy to watch this scene as it reminds me of my multi-skilled late grandpa who was a fisherman in Penang. It also reminds me of my great grandpa who built his own boat and commutes frequently from Permatang to Gelugor to visit his son and grandchildren.

We must thank Allah for keeping us grounded and grateful always.

May Allah guide us and make us useful to the people around us while we are still here.

Allah is the best planner and executor of plans. And His action plans will be manifested for sure.

Let those who foolishly think they can influence a person's fate through witchcraft/evil tricks whatever, let them drown with their wicked plans.

May Allah keep us protected and bless us with a joyful July. Ameen.
