Bismillah.
Many of us fall prey to misconceptions on wealth. We tend to seek for creations of wealth rather than the Creator of Wealth. In the process we even bow to creatures thinking that in their hands lie portions of our wealth when they themselves are being provided by the true Owner and Distributor of wealth, the One and only Provider, the only One who is Rich and Independent. May Allah grant us true wealth and protect us from hidden shirik.
"Let nothing remain in your hand, apart from Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala then you will become the richest and noblest of creatures, for you will come to be like Adam alaihi salam commanding things to bow down in prostration before him."
