Bismillah.
On the outside looking in
that's what we are
as far as that dunya we see from afar
We are the self appointed scribe
for those we adore
the mu'aleem, mashaikh and habaib
all who speak jewels and pearls
We are the naive lot
who listen with our heart
so ask not what we heard
for we remember not
ask us what we feel
for we're a sensitive soul
weep in silence
speak little out loud
for we know not
save what the heart shouts
We'd like to think that
we are in fact
inside looking out
