Alhamdulillah for third day of Ramadan.
A thoughtful friend bought me a coffee table book showcasing lovely photos of Ramadan scenes around the world. Ramadan is not just a spiritual celebration, it is also a visual celebration, no doubt, with colorful food, people's outfits when they congregate for iftar and Terawih prayers. Scenes of people reciting the Holy Quran; people doing iktikaf at beautiful masjid; people counting tasbih of different colors and designs, all of which are a feast for the eyes.
